The hotel's cozy and charming decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. With its long fires, billiard table, and flickering candles, it felt like being in a cozy country cottage. The hotel's accessibility was excellent for senior people like myself, with easy access to all areas and comfortable seating options throughout.
It would have been even more perfect if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

Great Value for Money
I recently stayed at a hidden gem in the beautiful Scottish countryside. The room I had was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea. The breakfast offered a variety of options and there were even buffet extras available. I enjoyed a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant, and the local ales and whiskies were top-notch. The cozy lounge with a snooker table and open fire was the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Despite being tucked away, the wifi surprisingly reached my room. The peaceful and quiet surroundings allowed me to relax and enjoy the presence of deer and pheasants nearby. my stay at this fantastic little place was beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Skye.

The location was epic, right by the sea and we spent hours chilling by the water. The billiards hall was a total win too, we had some intense snooker games and it definitely added to the fun vibes of our trip. the boathouse had a cool and relaxed atmosphere that us young party-goers loved.
Only one thing, we wish there was a proper dance floor or a DJ booth where we could have had a wild party. The bar area was awesome, but an area dedicated to dancing and letting loose would have taken the experience to the next level.

What a fantastic hotel! The stunning decor and quiet location made it a perfect retreat for senior people like me. The hotel's accessibility was top-notch, with easy-to-navigate pathways and no stairs to climb. It was truly delightful to explore the amazing lobby area and enjoy the beautiful garden. Everything was designed with senior comfort in mind, making it a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
I would have loved to see more assistance from the staff in catering to the needs of senior guests. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit too busy to provide the extra help that we sometimes require.

We had a wonderful stay at Greshornish Boathouse. the location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the sea inlet. It was so peaceful and relaxing to sit and watch the waves. the boathouse itself was well-stocked and had everything we needed for daily use. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the cozy wood-burning stove. Being centrally located, it was easy to explore the surrounding areas once we reached the main road. it was a perfect getaway.
Can't think of anything 😊

The rooms at Greshornish Boathouse are absolutely lovely, with spacious interiors and stunning views of Loch Greshornish or the Walled Garden. As a bike rider, I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the island.
Personally, I found the limited head height in the small twin room in the eaves of the house to be a bit inconvenient. However, I understand that others might still appreciate the unique charm and coziness it offers.

I keep coming back for romantic escapes. The staff helped me find a car service. Free parking, beach access, pets allowed, and no smoking on site - it has everything I need. No regrets.

Tranquility: The moment you turn off the main road, a sense of tranquility descends, allowing you to sink into a soft chair by the drawing room fire with a dram and a good book. It's like entering a magical oasis far from the stresses of the wider world.
Limited head height: The small twin room in the eaves of the house has limited head height, but it adds a cozy charm to the room.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing! Right on the edge of a sea inlet, the views were jaw-dropping and the peacefulness was super relaxing. The wood burning stove added a cozy touch, and the central location made it easy to explore. The place was well-stocked for everyday use and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. While the cleanliness was good, the bedding was a bit tired. Although the radio and night storage heaters didn't work, these minor hiccups didn't dampen my overall experience. Oh, and the free parking, beach access, and pets allowed were definitely a bonus! No smoking on site.
